However, we can just as well focus on more sophisticated operations, taking on the role of snipers, mortar operators or engineers sabotaging enemy actions. Nothing prevents us from fighting on the front line, eliminating enemies with small arms, rifles or bayonets.
What armaments we will use, as well as what capabilities we will have on the battlefield, is determined by our chosen role and equipment.
During the course of the game we take part in skirmishes involving both assaults on mountain fortifications (many of which are located at impressive heights), as well as fighting on the streets of ruined cities or crossing the valley of the title river. In Isonzo the action is observed from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the course of the game, we take sides in the conflict and, as Italian or Austro-Hungarian soldiers, take part in clashes over this territory. Isonzo takes us to the Italian front of World War I, or more precisely - to the valley of the title river, over which twelve battles were fought in 1915-1917. The production is the fruit of cooperation between M2H and Blackmill Games and is the third part of the series of first-war shooters launched in 2015, which includes the Verdun and Tannenberg games. Isonzo is a realistic FPS developed with multiplayer gameplay in mind, which takes us back to the times of World War I.
